About Dr. Danishwar

  • About Dr. Danishwar

    In Culver City, California, family members of all ages can get the dental care they need under one roof. Dentist Afsana Danishwar, DDS, specializes in routine and urgent dental care for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. Her practice, Danishwar Dentistry, is conveniently located southwest of Los Angeles near Studio Village, Sunkist Park, and Mar Vista.

    After earning her undergraduate degree in dental hygiene from the University of Southern California, Dr. Danishwar started working as a hygienist. Gaining years of hands-on experience in the office helped Dr. Danishwar excel through her graduate studies. She went on to complete her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry at USC.

    Dr. Danishwar is known for her dedication to her patients and their overall well-being. She ensures she provides only the most comprehensive techniques and treatments by taking continuing education courses and attending lectures on advancements in dentistry. Dr. Danishwar is also affiliated with the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry.

    In her spare time, Dr. Danishwar enjoys traveling the world with family and friends. She has had the opportunity to visit her homeland of Afghanistan to volunteer with the Afghan Dental Relief clinic, providing free dental treatments for children affected by war.

    Dr. Danishwar lives to serve her community as much as possible. She is an active team member of Donated Dental Services, where she provides essential dental care to underprivileged residents of the greater Los Angeles area. Dr. Danishwar welcomes new patients to the clinic who need routine or urgent dental treatments.
